Shortening Days

It is still dark at 5:30 when I wake up, and leaves slowly start to turn yellow and brown, but the air keeps burning with the heat of the summer. Hope the cold weather will be delayed this year, and will pass quickly. Hope winter will never come.

Summer work is going OK and right now I really like it, though it takes up quite a lot of the day. By the time I get home, all I wish to do is to lie and stare at the ceiling. I'm fighting idleness though, and keeping up with uni revision, sports, and hobbies. On weekends I meet up with friends, and sometimes go on longer hiking trips. I posted some photos I made these last two months (and would like to thank you for the favourites and the kind comments).

I saw the changes on dA (such as the new look deviation page, journal editor etc) and I do not quite like them. Staff should have rather invested their time in more sensible things, for instance enforcing rules or fixing problems. Photography(!) and Digital Art is flooded with video game screenshots, Literature is swamped with anime fanfiction, and most searches return "error - try again later". Okay, these were issues in the past as well, but now they reached a new height.
