Time Flies

My two-month contract at my current job ends in a couple of weeks, after which I move back home - just as I was starting to really like it here. Living on my own is exciting, gives a lot of freedom, and is not as scary as most people think. I tried out several things I have always loved or dreamed of, made new friends, and been staying in a nice city. Life has its ups and downs, but right now I am trying to focus on the positive side.

I know I have already said this - but hang-gliding is amazing, and one of the greatest things I've ever experienced. I don't even try to describe the feelings it stirs up with words; you must try it for yourselves (and after that, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward... for there you have been, and there you will always long to return).

I have been taking long walks in the weekends, and I am also doing lots of exercise each day, sometimes pushing my limits (like running two hours in pouring rain ), mostly to counter-balance the physical idleness of sitting nine hours in an office. I hope I can keep it up even after school starts - to be fit is a nice feeling.

In September, I have a four-week job contract abroad, which I am really looking forward to. Second year of university starts on October 1st. Uni (and future in general) is still pretty much undecided, but I will worry about that later. Or not. Things will fall in place, as I always tell my friends.

I see that my dA premium membership was extended by one full month - however, I did not get a notification about it. In case it was a gift from someone, thank you.
